Treasure hunt

Work developed during an academic exchange at ESADSE (École Supérieure d'Art et Design de Saint-Étienne)

This installation was created through the exploration of a 1 km limit around my house in Saint-Étienne.

​

At first, I was focused on uncovering elements of the landscape that might be ephemeral or otherwise left unseen in a normal promenade, such as people that passed me on the street or subtle architectural details.

Following this phase of discovery, I proposed a tour of the city through the reading of four texts, which are dispersed at strategic points within this area and must be found by the reader through clues at the end of each text.
